There are no words to describe how quickly the last week has
gone. I feel like yesterday we got to Darkhan, even though it was a week ago!
Over the past week we had our final center day trainings and met with the
training director (Christy). She was amazing to talk to, and it is evident that
she and Darlene (the country director) are very open and willing to talk to the
PCV’s in this country. I love that they have established this type of
relationship with us so early on!!!
The last week has been an array of trainings and gatherings
with PCV friends. Most nights, there were various room party’s to attend, stories
to be told, games to be played, music to be heard. Although we did have an awkward moment with a
whistling security guard who came into one of the rooms we were playing games
in, I am proud to say that while the 44 (M-24’s) love to hang out together
after a long day, they also managed to keep it classy with no complaints during
their stay in Darkhan!
